The only way you can change FPS in AoD is with the Framerate mode in the settings. If it is in "fast" game will run at unlocked framerate, if it is in "smooth" game will run at 30 or lower but it is very unstable and has a lot of issues.

How come the overlay crashes/ does not work with some games? Please see if there are any conflicting programs such as other overlays that are in place and disable them to see if the CAM overlay can work. It might not work with other games due to the anti cheat that will not allow CAM overlay to show. CAM not showing up.
